Jonathan Kost, M.D.

Medical Director

Dr. Kost is Board certified in Pain Management and Anesthesiology. He received his anesthesiology training at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York and completed his Pain Management Fellowship at Harvard Medical School’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He is a member of the American Pain Society, the International Association of the Study of Pain, the American Academy of Pain Medicine, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia, the American Society of Anesthesiology, and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.


 

Annette Karen Macannuco, M.D.

Annette Macannuco, M.D., completed Pain Management Fellowships at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana and at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the American Society of Regional Anesthesia, the Tennessee Society of Anesthesia, and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.


 

Eugene Lucier, M.D.

Eugene Lucier, M.D. graduated from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School. He completed his residency training in the Department of Anesthesiology at Peter Brent Brigham Hospital, Boston, MA. Dr. Lucier is Board certified in Anesthesiology and specializes in treating lower back, neck, work injuries, RSD and nerve injury pains. He is experienced in utilizing the most recent interventional treatment modalities for pain. Dr. Lucier’s is a fellow in the American College of Anesthesiologists. He was also the recipient of a Certification in Pain Management from the American Board of Anesthesiology, and the Governor’s Council Award from the Massachusetts Chapter, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Society. He is a member of the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, the American Society of Anesthesiologist and the American Medical Association.


 

Igor Turok, M.D.

Dr. Turok received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine, Dominica, West Indies. He completed a residency in neurology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, New York, NY, and his fellowship in Anesthesia Pain Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York, NY. Dr. Turok is a member of the North American Spine Society, the American Academy of Neurology and the American Medical Association. He is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian.


 
 

Rafael Cordova, R.P.T.

Rafael Cordova received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Connecticut. Rafael brings well over 18 years of professional experience, including 12 years in pain management, to the Connecticut Spine and Pain Center. Rafael specializes in working with injured workers, in creating customized functional restorative rehabilitation programs, and in the educating of individuals with pain in effective pain management/self-rehabilitation techniques.


 

Beth Garrison, P.A.

After graduating from Southwestern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Ms. Garrison earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of New Mexico. After ten years in that field, she then completed her Masters of Science degree from the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Saint Francis, Albuquerque, NM. Prior to joining the Connecticut Spine and Pain Center at Bristol Hospital, Beth was a Staff Pain Management Physician Assistant at Quadra Health Institute in Albuquerque, NM where she was responsible for the evaluation and treatment of spine, neurological and orthopedic patients. Beth is a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants and the American Physical Therapy Association.


 

Dr. Deborah Rosenberg, Ph.D.

Dr. Rosenberg graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology and a Doctorate in Educational Psychology from Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She practiced and lectured in medical psychology areas including pain management, stress and anxiety management, as well as coping with psychological effects of chronic illness. Her practice has also included pre-and post-surgical evaluation and intervention. Dr. Rosenberg has over twenty years of experience providing psychological services for the pain management population.


The pain center’s specialized nursing staff assists the physicians in performing recommended medical treatment. They ensure your understanding and compliance with our treatment plan.
